Requirements
Chemical, mechanical and water-intensive: Whether a digester, bleaching tower or mixer – pulp processing and paper production involve many challenging production steps. Aggressive chemicals, abrasive materials or a corrosive environment are used depending on the pulp or paper product. In addition, large volumes of process water and a high level of energy are required, for example, in the form of vapour. High humidity therefore plays a major role in the paper and pulp industry.
